The Grounding Place was created to be a sensory experience during a time of overwhelm. Made of wool roving - a connection to my agricultural roots - when entered there is a dampening of sound, a smell of lanolin, and you’re surrounded by these long super soft strands.
Viewers were invited to touch and/or enter the work.
