Sculpture
Many of our foods will have to be phased out of everyday consumption due to their high-water needs and the changing landscape of resources available in this state of climate crisis. These porcelain sculptures of impacted fruits highlights the fragility of our food systems, harkening bone and fossil remnants while also calling on social perceptions of value and commodity. Nostalgia and whimsy allow for introspection and a personal connection to the shifting landscape of our food ways in this interactive installation.
